Break!!!!
Well the month of December seemed to be shy of illnesses! Maybe this is a sign of better health for the kids in the new year!
We had a Breakfast with Santa the weekend of the 13th. I had Tracy bring the kids and Christopher LOVED Santa.... he kept going back talking to him and asking him questions.
"Santa why do you have that hat on?
Santa do you have a big belly button?
Santa why is there a fan on you?
Santa why do you wear those boots?
Santa why......."
It was great! I think this was the first year he did not run from Santa. Olivia on the other hand did not really care for him.
After returning home from lunch with the family, Olivia and I were watching doggies (Homeward Bound is now her obsession) Christopher came in and said "Mommy did you buy me this fast truck??" and he was excited. I looked at him and he had opened one of his Christmas presents!!! I asked him why he said because it had his name on it! :) Good logic!
I asked him where the paper was so I could wrap it back he said it was all torn. On his bed was the evidence! I could not be mad because it was cute! I just took the truck and put it up. He has not asked since for it..... but I am sure he will remember come Christmas!
We hope everyone has a great holiday!

Christmas Decorating
We decorated the Christmas tree last weekend. The kids helped! Olivia was getting the ornaments out of the box faster than I could hand them to her. Most of them are on the bottom right side and she redecorates every night! Sweet Girl!

A week of illness
Wow that seems to be the theme this month!
Olivia had a fever Monday afternoon. I took her to the Dr he said she had a sore throat and a virus. She stayed home with Daddy Tue and Wed. Back to sitters on Thursday and then Christopher gets the fever! So I stayed home with him Friday. After a weekend of staying in the house and disinfecting it hopefully they will be all better now :)

Weekend
This weekend was good. Tracy had to work so I was all alone :) Gammie did come play with them for a few hours on Saturday. She said they were angels until I came home. Yeah right!! Christopher has decided now that every time someone comes to see him they should bring him something. Even me and his daddy. So I tired to tell him that it does not work that way!
Sunday Grandma Reba called to tell us she was coming. When I told Christopher he said "Yeah I love Grandma Zebra she always brings me something when she comes." So that lesson was not learned :)
Olivia spent the weekend saying her tummy had an ouchy and making me rub it! She would say "My tummy hurt, Mom, rub it" and yes you read right she has been calling me Mom for some reason. I have been trying to get her to say Momma or Mommy but she goes back to Mom!

Trying my hand at blogging!
I have decided to come up in the world and try to blog about my children to keep everyone up to date and to remember the funny things they say!
So hear goes....... last night was not a fun night. Olivia woke up at 12:30 am vomiting. Tracy woke me up and told me she was in the tub. Poor little thing was sitting in the tub half awake crying with vomit in her hair. So I washed her and dressed her and laid her down with me while Daddy changed her bed. She then goes again on our bed. I changed her again and rocked her while Daddy changed our bed. He goes into Christopher's room to get her a pillow and brings it out and YEAH it has vomit on it. Poor guy I guess puked and then went back to sleep. So I lay Olivia on the couch and get him up and give him a bath. While Daddy changes another bed. Thank God for him because I can not do the vomit thing :) So we put them in bed with us and laid them on a towel. They would both take turns waking up to go again. Finally after 3 or 4 sessions of that and 3 loads of laundry at 4 am they fell asleep and stayed that way.
Christopher woke up in the morning feeling fine. Olivia not so much.... she had a few more episodes and then took a big nap and got up and laid around on the floor and watched Homeward Bound (she loves watching live dogs and cats) It is now 7 pm and she seems to be doing better. They both are saying they are hungry and wanting to drink something. So we will take it slowly and hope tonight is not a repeat!
